Ballina Island Paddle Challenge
10km All–Craft Flatwater challenge around the Ballina island.

2010 saw the first paddle challenge event held for many years by the Ballina Lighthouse & Lismore Surf Life Saving Club.
Although last year the weather wasn't as kind as was hoped, the event proceeded with a strong field.
On Sunday 2nd October 2011 we hope to host a bigger event with some great October weather (that is the plan!).
It is open to any participant with a paddle Craft – whether it be an Ocean or Racing ski, Kayak or stand up paddle board.
There will be a number of great prizes with an open craft event as well as Surf Ski.
