MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

If you are interested in joining our club or obtaining more
information on becoming a lifesaver, contact Club Secretary

administrator@ballinasurfclub.com.au .

Membership is open to everyone from the age of 5 years (as at 30 Sept) upwards.

Junior activities are conducted for 5 years to 13 ("Junior Lifesaver").  Our aim is to provide a safe and fun environment for these Sunday mornings during the season for members to learn surf survival skills - with an emphasis on fun.

Surf lifesavers aged 13 and 14 learn basic rescue skills and at 15 years surf lifesavers begin training for the Bronze Medallion, which qualifies them to commence surf patrol duties.

Adults of any age are welcome to enquire about obtaining their Bronze Medallion Qualification. Courses are run from time to time - when numbers are sufficient to run a course.

Club activities include surf competitions, beach patrols and social functions.  Membership is not only available for those wishing to participate in beach patrols but also for associate members and parents.
